Program on November 7, 2016!
Program Vision
Salma Khatoon Academy provides a safe and nurturing environment for students to get academic support, study the Quran (leading to a Hifz Program), and socialize in a supervised environment through engaging and fun daily activities.
Program Description
The Salma Khatoon Academy After School Program is designed to allow students to work for 60 minutes daily with one of Connecticut's pioneer Hifz Shaikhs, Shaikh Ahmed, on reading, understanding, and memorizing the Quran. Students will also rotate through academic and recreational sessions including homework help, Islamic studies, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), sports, and much more.
Program Goals
- 1. Provide academic support to students to complete their homework.
- 2. Provide a safe, supervised environment for children to participate in athletics
- and other recreational and extracurricular activities.
- 3. Provide children with Muslim role models and mentors.
- 4. Provide children with high-quality Quran instruction leading to a Hifz program

The After School Program costs $250/month per child. Tuition is due on the
1st of every month, and includes all daily instruction, activities, and snacks.
